D.R. Horton is developing a brand new community in Pearland, central Pearland, called Bakers Landing. The new community is located right off hwy 35 (Main St) and very close to hwy 518 (Broadway). 

In this article, I took some photos of a ready-to-move in home as well as some of the amenities that Bakers Landing has to offer. I also walked through the home as if I was a home inspector, looking for flaws in construction. To my satisfaction, D.R. Horton is building very good quality homes in Bakers Landing. 

However, before purchasing any new construction home, it is very important to hire your own home inspector. The home inspector you hire will point out any deficiencies. We then take the inspection report to the builder and the builder checks off the items as they repair them.
